1. Power on with no disc
2. Press Repeat (not Repeat A-B)
3. For region 1 models enter 2, 9, 3, 3 and 4 on your remote control
   For region 2 models enter 5, 7, 5, 3 and 8 on your remote control
   For region 3 models enter 5, 6, 7, 3 and 2 on your remote control
   For region 4 models enter 7, 6, 8, 8 and 4 on your remote control
   For region 5 models enter 5, 3, 8, 1 and 4 on your remote control
   For region 6 models enter 2, 4, 4, 6 and 2 on your remote control
4. Enter your require region number or use 9 for region free
5. Open the tray for around 30secs then power off

1. Power on with no disc
2. Press Setup
3. Move to “System Information”
4. Enter: 1, 1, 0 and 1
5. Enter your required region number or use 0 (zero) for region free

Information for this one is a little light, however it is possible to access a service menu but as I have not tested this personally I don’t know if this menu offers the ability to modify the region setting.

BE CAREFUL - Changing the wrong settings in this menu could cause problems, you have been warned.

To access the menu:

1. Power on with no disc
2. Go into Standby Mode
3. Quickly press: Title, Clear and Power

1. Power on and open the tray
2. Using the remote control enter 1, 3, 6 and 9
3. Select your required region number of use 0 (zero) for region free
